The Book Mule Bookrack

For those who live with books and want to feature their decorative qualities, the Book Mule by designer Rob Tuckerman provides a unique solution.

Innovative freestanding design liberates books from the wall. Books can easily be distributed and featured throughout your home.

Canted shelves offer a unique presentation. Books are some of the most intensely designed objects you own. The Book Mule enables you to incorporate these decorative elements into the interior design of your home. Books on the top shelf can be displayed face up.

Compact size holds 40-50 books so you can organize your collection any way you want—by author or topic or purely for decoration.

Handy and portable, the Book Mule is light and easy to move for cleaning or re-arranging. It fits in small spaces, even under a desk.

Unique patent-pending locking wedge joint allows you to assemble and re-assemble the bookrack in seconds with hand pressure and no hardware.

Practical, minimal flat box packaging, ships and stores flat.

Weight: 10 lbs. Holds 40-50 lbs of books. It is light but sturdy and stable enough to stand on! The shelves will never sag.

Made in Canada of exclusive custom renewable and sustainable material. The premier quality Baltic birch veneer core plywood is Carb 2 certified and meets FSC standards.

Custom natural facings are from Hout Line Veneer, a reconstituted green product available in a number of exotic veneers. These are finished with an organic oil-wax sealer.

Book Mule also available in a phenolic film finish with a hard smooth translucent colored coating that leaves the wood grain visible. Currently available in Velvet Espresso. More color options available early in 2011.

Lesstravagent. The Book Mule is a reasonably priced, unique, quality product—a practical solution for storing and displaying your books.
